Jake Savona, alias Mista Savona, est le premier producteur reggae d’Australie.
Son tout dernier album « Warn the Nation » sorti en juillet 2010 est l’une des meilleures merveilles du reggae australien ! Il nous laisse à penser qu’une place reste encore à prendre en Jamaïque et ailleurs…
Pour cet album, Mista Savona nous a concocté 16 titres dancehall et reggae roots avec des artistes de renommée internationale afin d’aborder des thèmes tels que l’injustice, la protection de l’environnement ou encore les inégalités sociales.
En live sur la grande scène du Reggae Sun Ska, ce sera un incroyable éventail de 10 instruments dont une section de cor, mis en scène par des danseurs africains ! Le tout sera accompagné de la vocaliste Vida Sunshyne qui a d’ores et déjà travaillé avec Nithin Sawhney et Lionel Richie.
