Le dub, le trip-hop, le dubstep, l’électro-jungle… ça vous parle ? Alors écoutez Dub in VO !
Au carrefour d’une électro stridente, d’une drum & bass acoustique et d’un dub lourd et impétueux, DUB in V.O. cherche à hybrider la transgressivité du rite et une modernité nostalgique de sa gloire passée. Originaire de Nancy, Dub in VO était composé de cinq musiciens à sa création.
Tous influencés par le mouvement novo-dub et après deux albums, Dub in VO passe à quatre : Toma Copier à la batterie, Ben Cahen à la basse, Digital Garden aux deux machines et Alex aux samples.
C’est maintenant en Europe qu’ils tournent grâce à la participation d’artistes de renom tels que Marcus Urani (Groundation) ou Charly Sy (Sayag Jazz Machine).
De retour au Reggae Sun Ska, Dub in VO débarque pour l’ouverture de la scène sound system !
