Son nom était encore inconnu de tous il n'y a pas trois ans. Désormais, c'est une autre histoire, il est tout simplement devenu l’artiste reggae/dancehall le plus en vue du moment.
Après son hit Stinkin Rich en 2009, Gappy Ranks, l'artiste pourrait bien voir ses rêves devenir réalité, puisque son succès n'est pas passé inaperçu chez Greensleeves. Le label anglais a ainsi fait signer son compatriote pour un premier album impeccable « Put The Stereo On ».
